Sunflower Extract

Sunflower is a plant variety. Homeland is America. There are up to 55 varieties. It is also known as sunflower, sunflower, sunflower in our country because it turns its face towards the sun. In Thrace, Aegean and Marmara regions, it is cultivated as an anchor plant to obtain oil from its seeds. The pulp of the seeds taken from oil is used as animal feed. Sunflower is a one-year plant and reaches a height of half a meter to four meters. Its thickness varies between 1-4 cm. Sunflower has a very strong root structure. This plant grips the soil firmly with its solid roots and receives a lot of nutrients, especially potassium. The body of the sunflower is also very robust. There are varieties with a single stem or branching. It is not desirable to branch the cultivated sunflower plants, on the other hand, it is desirable to branch those planted as ornamental plants. Wild varieties of sunflowers branch more; branching is a sign of wildness. It forms a tray at the end of each branch of the over-branching plants. Their colors are whitish, light red and orange. They look extremely nice. The number of flowers in a tray varies between 50-200. The total weight of one thousand sunflower seeds is between 70-200 grams.
