It is a bushy plant. The handle is fibrous, thin, delicate, very branched and upright. Young branches have four corners. The leaves are mutual, stemless and atrium-free. The leaves resemble pine leaves. Leaf blade is long, quite fleshy, upper side glabrous, dark colored; the underside is very hairy and white-green in color.

Leaf edges are curved towards the bottom and do not shed the leaves in winter. The leaves are tongue-shaped, 2-3 cm long, 2-4 mm wide. Leaf blade is leathery, narrow, stripy or lanceolate. The tip of the leaf is blunt. The base is narrowed into a very short stalk.

Its flowers are in small communities at the ends of the branches and on the leaf seats. Flowers all year round. And the flowers are in the form of clusters on an axis. The petals are tubular, with two lips and very hairy. Petals are tubular and have two lips.

The flowers are bluish white, purple and magenta. The upper lip has two narrow lobes and the lower lip has three narrow lobes. The middle lobe of the lower lip is larger and pit than the others. There are two Stamers.

The filament is longer than the corolla tube, curved, purple in color and has a small tooth protrusion at the base. The female organ has two karperes, the styli is long and curved, and the stigma is two-part. Flowers in the nectarium.
