Frankincense Oil

The Latin name of the Akgünlük plant is boswellia serrat. Akgünlik tree grows mainly in North Africa and India. In our country, it is a type of tree grown especially in the Central Anatolia Region and can reach up to 8 meters in length. Akgünlük tree has a very solid structure and has a long life. The unique feature of the tree is that it emits a resin-like substance called aleoresin when the body is touched. Akgünlük plant is a kind of gum made from resin obtained from these trees. Akgünlük can be defined as a kind of tree that grows especially in Central Anatolia and is known for its healing gum.
