Cymbopogon, known as various lemon grass, barbed wire grass, silky heads, Cochin grass or Malabar grass or oily heads, is a genus of grass family in Asia, Africa, Australia and tropical island plants. Some species are often grown as culinary and medicinal plants because of their odor that resembles lemon scents.
