Frankish cumin; Egypt is native to the Nile coast and a limited region in West Asia. Curcumin grown in the eastern regions of Iran and other countries since ancient years is among the most important medicinal spice plants in the world. Frank cumin called green cumin or black cumin in Iran; It has long, thin roots and leaves, white and pink flowers and can reach 30-60 cm height in two years. It is an economical plant with 25 species, single and double years. The cumin, which is composed of substances called carvone and limonene, has two types of seeds. The high limonene / carvone ratio in its structure increases the quality of the cumin.
