Betulaceae (birchaceae) family can grow up to 30 meters perennial, in the form of deciduous tree in winter plants. Petals 3–7cm in diameter, alternating array, ovoid-lanceolate, narrow base; edges are bright green colored with lobes. Flowers are divided into male and female. Male flowers cylindrical, drooping, short-stemmed; female flowers are first drooping after drooping, light green yellowish, mature brown. Flowers March-April; fruits ripen in June-August. Seeds are winged. White colored shell is one of the most characteristic features.
