Baobab is a magnificent tree that grows in a wide geography from Africa to Australia, has been the subject of many legends in the places it grows, and deserves the character of the monumental tree with its giant trunk. Digitata is the name of the species living in Africa.
There are 3000-year-old living specimens in the world. It is not possible to grow in our country because it is a tropical tree. It can reach 18 m in length. The trunk circumference reaches 30 m and the diameter is 9 m. This soft and spongy giant body acts as a water reservoir and gives the impression that it is very large compared to the branches with leaves in proportion. The tree takes the form of a dome with the ends of the branches hanging downwards. Paper is made from the wood of baobab which is obtained from the bark and leaves of the antipyretic substance called "adasonina". The sour flesh portion of an orange-sized fruit in egg form is eaten by sowing sugar.
